During the Mesotherapy procedure, a series of injections are administered, with each injection placing a drop of the solution into your skin. The fine needle penetrates to the middle layer of the skin where vitamins, minerals and amino acids lost in the ageing process are replaced. The depth of these injections will be tailored to your individual requirements. In addition to administering the treatment by injection, we also offer the option to reintroduce these nutrients into the skin using the latest technology of electric Micro Needling pen. The use of the Micro Needling pen enables us to further tailor the treatment to your individual requirements, depending on the depth of treatment required. This method is also less painful when compared to treatment with injections. The procedure lasts around 30 minutes.

What aftercare should I follow after having Mesotherapy?

After having Mesotherapy, it is advisable to follow our aftercare instructions to maximise the results achieved and to reduce the risk of complications.
Following Mesotherapy:
● It is not unusual for skin to feel dry and tight. This is easily treated with the use of moisturiser.
● For 24 hours following Mesotherapy avoid the use of saunas, steam baths and sunbeds
● Avoid sun exposure for at least 48 hours following treatment and use sun protection of at least SPF30 when going outside
● Avoid strenuous activity immediately following treatment
● Avoid waxing, electrolysis and bleaching facial hair for at least 5 days
● Do not swim in chlorinated water for 3-5 days following treatment
● If applying makeup, mineral makeup, preferably Lycogel, is recommended
● Avoid using any irritating skincare products containing ingredients, such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid etc, until skin redness dissipates
● Do not take anti-inflammatory medication, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, or Vitamin E for 24 hours following treatment
● Arnica can be taken orally to help with swelling and bruising
● Avoid the use of exfoliating scrubs for at least 48 hours following treatment

You should not consider having Mesotherapy if:
● You are pregnant

● You are taking blood thinning medication
● You are taking insulin
● You suffer from severe HTN or cardiac problems
● You have HIV
● You suffer from severe renal disease
